Challenging silence: media against sexual violence

This 5 minutes video, produced with the support of Cordaid, presents the campaign, launched together with the Corporación Humanas, from Latin America. Civilians have become the main target in armed conflicts, especially women and girls. Sexual violence is premeditatedly used as one of the most efficient and cruel war weapons. The campaign Challenging the silence: media against sexual violence has the goal of generate a better informed public opinion on sexual violence and gender justice in three African countries: Angola, Democratic Republic of Congo and Rwanda.
